✨UPDATE✨ New name

Ever so slight business change -
I will now work under ‘Lauvont’ rather than ‘Eevee Fox Art’

Same person, same page, but now using my own name abbreviated.

My own name makes more sense than Eevee Fox, which was intended as a pen name for children’s books etc, but ended up being confusing. Time for a new chapter!

Moving forward all websites, emails, social links etc will be updated.
New links are in my bio.

Old emails and web links will still work, but they will now be redirected.

✨Moving forward I will be mostly focused on animation, and I’m working towards starting an animation studio. That wont be for a few years though✨

✨ This week is mental health awareness week! ✨

I’ve created 4 images and a small poem that reflect some mental health issues I struggle with personally.

I’m a very lucky and fortunate person with great family and friends, so this is in no way meant as anything but me trying to contribute to the conversation around mental health.
Mental health can still be a taboo subject, and it shouldn’t be. Everyone struggles sometimes and thats okay! We should all seek help if needed, and not be afraid to speak out if we aren’t doing okay!

Poem:

Everyone is staring,
I want to shrink so small.
My health can get me down sometimes,
and I deserve it all.

No one really wants me here,
I’m ugly and I’m weird.
That thing I said 12 years ago,
Still fills me with dread and fear

Image descriptions:
All of the images have a black and purple colour scheme. There is black drippy looking patterns in all images, to represent feeling off or unwell

First image goes with the first part of the poem ‘no one really wants me here, I want to shrink so small.’ - I have drawn myself near the bottom of the image, and there are several people looking at me. The image is supposed to feel crowded and closed in.

Second image goes with the second part of the poem ‘my health can get me down sometimes, and I deserve it all’ - I’ve drawn myself sitting on a bed hunched forward, looking fed up with medication to my side. Theres a black wiggly pattern coming from me to represent me feeling unwell or being in pain.

Third image goes with the third part of the poem ‘no one really wants me here, I’m ugly and I’m weird’ - There are brightly coloured, golden beautiful women above me, and I’m in the bottom part of the image, looking distorted and strange.

The fourth image goes with the fourth part of the poem, which says ‘That thing I said 12 years ago still fills me with dread and fear’ - I’ve drawn myself sitting at a table, arms folded looking into the abyss, looking troubled, nervous and worried.

Probably shouldn’t post completed scenes from my film, but I’m in-charge here so I’ll do what!

I’m pretty happy with how this has turned out. It’s not perfect as I’m still learning animation, but perfect isn’t what I’m striving for. this is our first introduction to Willow in the film, and I think she looks pretty cute. #weirdwilow #wave #2dstopmotion #stopmotion #feltstopmotion

Progress isn’t always linear, visible, or straight forward. Progress can be messy, slow, and tedious.

Another year has passed, and my second year of making ‘Weird Willow’ isn’t quite where I’d like it to be - that being said, most things have now been sewn for my 7 minute film - and I have about 25 seconds of completed animation - this isn’t a lot, but, its progress nonetheless.

Stop motion and 2d felt was never going to be an easy feat. I’ve learned this the hard way. This is an ambitious choice for someone who has never animated properly or made a film, some would call this a ridiculous choice - they would be correct - I couldn’t have chosen a slower medium. My naivety and lack of animating practice is what has lead me down this path - but, I think a stop motion world made out of felt will work well in a story about weirdness.

I have sacrificed evenings, weekends, seeing my family and friends in a bid to get this film made. I’ve battled through my own health problems just to get another stitch sewn. I’ve worked my 9-5 job from home then moved to another desk to start my animation work. Its just for now and not forever. 2 years in and theres still a long way to go.

I hope 2026 brings me closer to completing Weird Willow - and I’m aiming for a 2027 release.

A gentle little life was lost suddenly but peacefully last night. RIP Ruby. One of the purest most delicate souls who wouldn’t have hurt a fly (literally) 9/07/2013 - 29/11/2025

She has no facial features or hands yet, (being added digitally) but heres Willow doing a spin and sassy hair flick!

Love the new Hazbin Hotel series. Created my own character in their style - an English postbox demon. Not sure what to call her!
